Mickey’s Pirate & Princess Party
Disney’s Pirate and Princess Party is an event held at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. This event requires an additional ticket along with the ticket to enter the Magic Kingdom.
During the party, there are several areas featuring special attractions for guests to participate in. They are divided into Pirate Coves and Princess Courts, depending on their theme.
The Pirate Coves include New Tortuga in Adventureland, Riverboat Riveria in Liberty Square, and Solaris’ System in Tomorrowland. New Tortuga features Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Tutorial, the Rusty Cutlass pirate band, and the chance to meet Captain Hook and Mr. Smee. The Riverboat Riveria features the Legend of Jolly Roger Haunted Riverboat, the Riverboat Roulettes banjo trio, and the Ramblin’ Rustlers. The Solaris’ System features space pirates and DJ Eclipse’s Dance Party.
The Princess Courts are Jasmine’s Court in Adventureland, Ariel’s Court in Fantasyland, and the Princess Pavillion at Mickey’s Toontown Fair. Jasmine’s court features Princess Jasmine’s Royal Guard Recruitment, the Amazing Agrabats, and the chance to meet Jasmine and Aladdin. Ariel’s Court features Sebastian’s Under the Sea Dance Party, Belle’s Story, and the chance to meet Ariel, Sebastian, and Flounder. The Princess Pavilion allows guest to meet Cinderella, Belle, and Aurora and be consulted on their royal image. It also features pirate-themed carnival games.
Each night the “Enchanted Adventures Parade” will take place at 8:15 and 10:30pm. Featured in this parade is a 39 foot long pirate ship accompanied by a Jolly Roger flag corps. The Princesses will be joined by knights on horseback as well as regal dancers.
The specially themed fireworks “Magic, Music and Mayhem” are scheduled at 9:30pm nightly and will fill the sky. Guest will enjoy a Pirate/Princess castle stage show.
The “Pirate and Princess Party” will be held from 7:00pm to 12:00am.
