    Jan. 16 The Ruth King Band (blues): The Blues Kitchen at House of Blues; free; 10:30 p.m.

    Jan. 17 Orlando Rocks! w/ Gargamel!, Black In The Mind, Mr. Bella, Afterglow Radio, 7 Blue Skies
    (rock): House of Blues; $5; 8 p.m.
    The Ruth King Band (blues): The Blues Kitchen at House of Blues; free; 10:30 p.m.

    Jan. 18 talent tba (gospel brunch): House of Blues; $32.50 ages 10+/$16.25 ages 3-9; 10:30 a.m. & 1 p.m.

    Jan. 20 Cirque du Soleil La Nouba cast takes a break: Three times each year, the La Nouba
    performance schedule is altered so the cast can rest and rejuvenate and the production crew can
    refresh and refurbish the theatre at Downtown Disney West Side. While Sunday and Monday are
    the weekly “dark days,” the theatre will go dark following Saturday, Jan. 17, performances and
    resume production on Tuesday, Jan. 27.

    Jan. 23 Refreshed, renamed Magic Kingdom parade debuts: New music, new costumes and some new
    float décor will be part of the afternoon Magic Kingdom parade beginning

    Jan. 23. The procession
    will make more stops, during which party dancers will perform to get guests into a celebratory spirit.
    And to go with the changes, the parade will have a new name: Celebrate A Dream Come True
    Parade. It’s all part of Disney Parks’ program, What Will You Celebrate?, which began this month.

    of Blues; $15 advance/$17 day of; 8 p.m.
    The JD Daniel Trio (blues): The Blues Kitchen at House of Blues; free; 10:30 p.m.
