By admin | November 15, 2008
According to the Orlando Sentinel, “Disney Cruise Line is preparing to unveil overhauled theaters on both of its cruise ships that the company says will make its vessels the first to feature 3-D onboard movies. The company plans to premiere the new technology first on the Nov. 20 sailing of the Disney Wonder out of Port Canaveral, with a screening of the upcoming animated movie Bolt. By early 2009, Disney says, it plans to supplement the 3-D movies with new in-theater effects, including lasers, fog, streamers and stage lighting.”
